Gameplay Overview

ChisiSlots plays like a classic video slot. Each spin randomizes all 5 reels simultaneously, revealing a 5×4 grid of symbols. Wins are evaluated across 20 fixed paylines — you don’t need to select them, all 20 are always active. Payline patterns include straight rows, V-shapes, zigzags, and diagonals.

When a payline has 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel, you win. Only the longest match on each payline pays — a 5-of-a-kind doesn’t also pay the 4-of-a-kind and 3-of-a-kind. Multiple paylines can win on the same spin, and all winnings are added together.

The maximum total payout per spin is capped at 500x your wager, even if multiple paylines hit simultaneously.

How to Play

Enter your wager or use the quick buttons — half (½), double (2×), or max ($). The max button automatically calculates the highest allowed wager based on your balance and the protocol’s risk limits. Hit the Spin button to play.

Wagers are deducted from your credit balance (pUSD deposited on the dashboard). Winnings are credited instantly after the spin resolves. Your wager carries over between spins so you can play again quickly.

Bet Limits

Bet limits are determined by the protocol’s NPL (Net Payout Liability) system. Because slots have a 500x max win, each wager’s NPL is 499× the wager — making the per-bet limit tighter than lower-volatility games. Three caps apply: per-wager NPL ≤ 0.2% of bankroll, per-player open NPL ≤ 1.0%, and global open NPL ≤ 5.0%. The Max button handles this for you.

On-Chain & Provably Fair

Every spin is placed as a smart contract transaction. The result is determined using VRF (Verifiable Random Function) — a cryptographic random number that neither the house nor the player can predict or manipulate.

The random word sets the stop position on each of the 5 reel strips (64 symbols per strip), producing the final grid deterministically. Anyone can verify the outcome by replaying the reel-strip logic with the VRF output. If the VRF oracle fails to respond within 1 hour, the player can claim a full refund.

House Edge & RTP

ChisiSlots has a theoretical RTP of 96.76% and a house edge of 3.24%. This is comparable to popular video slots at major casinos. The RTP is determined by the symbol distribution across the reel strips and the paytable multipliers — both are fixed in the smart contract and publicly auditable.
